Good luck with the Apple of your eye Redflash (& Mark B) Thanks KJ, Mr Vango ended up being the better of my two on the day.

Even by modern standards, today’s racing looks fecking abysmal. Willie’s invented a whole new sport called horse processioning. Even the Brassil horse has been smashed in overnight. The one imponderable is whether Fact To File is a stayer. Corbetts should have been in this race.

I picked Corbett's last yr😉 he was terrific this yr & yeah feel a few others are missing in races today. looks pretty poor. As always I was really looking forward to the x country esp re GN not read the paper as to why it's abandoned, surely they could demand rescheduling seeing it's importance to a few preparations!? If not these horses really should have had a back up race here or be given an opportunity to opt in.

I agree KJ, I’m gutted there’s no X country, I thought it looked pretty competitive, I was going to back Coko Beach and possibly Delta.
It doesn’t look a great day to be honest, and like others the Mullins monopoly is tiresome. I am looking forward to the Brown Advisory and hoping Stay Away Fay can get the better of Fact to File.
Earlier this morning I was reminded that 9 years to the day, Coneygree won the Gold Cup and I also had Martello Tower that day, both highlighted by Seven on this thread. Now that was a good days racing.

I was behind Coneygree early too, it wasn't just the late Mr. Bradstock that crazily thought he was a certainty, remember chatting with Seven here about what we just saw, much like Galopin, a great journey when you spot a youngster and they deliver! Even tho Mr Vango is not Coneygree I'm enjoying watching his nimble bradstock jumping style. It may not be the best day but there are still some very likeable horses to watch, good luck with all your bets!

What is it with ITV post race interviews, always wanting to talk about the future for the horse immediately after witnessing the present.
