Romeo Coolio 11-2 i’ll try each way. The fav is 6-5 and not much between them at Cheltenham. Different track and ground today so you never know.

Hewick ( EW @ 20/1 ) put up a decent show for third, but just wasn't good enough at that distance.

Hewick did run well. Unlike conflated who jumped markedly left at every fence, which ruined any place chance at all.
I think I’ll be skipping the rest of the punchestown festival, today was more than enough.😂
Will have a look at the guineas for weekend though.

I was really enjoying Punchestown until the handicap at 6 which was carnage and pretty upsetting.

Singing Banjo wins at 14! amazing🥰 got the luck this yr. nearly got taken out, a bit later Stumpton did by a direct hit big a loose horse! I'd picked Banjo mais oui! didn't think he could win more likely what happened last yr and I picked Coko too, for his class, he did well fades over 4m, or...without having run the GN would he have won!? it's not his strength 4m, but he was so solid bless him.
I wasn't around yesterday (or today) thought watching replays just now something bad must have happened yesterday, hope everyone was ok? James de B was one who disappeared.
Also notable how out of sorts some GN runners seemed again yesterday. It's interesting how much the GN course fences etc have changed and yet how even without finishing, some horses seem affected by it.

James du Berlais seems to be ok but he brought down another horse that died. And Sire du Berlais has just been lost. It’s been a horrible season. It’s the first year that I’ve been able to record the Saturday racing and there hasn’t been a single weekend that I’ve been able to rewatch.

Oh no, I didn't know that when I wrote about his namesake yesterday. Feels worse when it's a proper veteran nearing retirement, they've given so much. Not watching alot of racing these days, maybe why I felt it had been a better year in terms of fatalities on course. There's no getting away from these accidents, although like with yesterday's race just watching the edited race later removed the trauma, not that I'd forget the reality.

Sad news indeed about Sire De Berlais, he won some big races in his career and a long happy retirement surely wasn’t far away.
I watched a few races yesterday from Punchestown, 3 of the 4 races I watched had strong favourites, all of whom were defeated.
Blood Destiny. Gaelic Warrior and Coko Beach
Only Teauphoo of the races I saw won as favourite, whereas as Cheltenham and Aintree, run a lot more to form, Punchestown throws up often strange results, I’ll be honest and say I really couldn’t see Galopin Des Champs losing on Wednesday either, from a betting angle I’m going to swerve this in future, it’s way to unpredictable.

I thought I was seeing things when the loose horse came charging in from the side, directly into Stumptown, and unseating his rider, it was like a horse mugging and I’ve never seen anything like that before. The same in 2018 when Al Boum Photo crashed through the side rails when it seemed impossible for him not to win. Crazy things seem to happy at Punchestown.

Still three big handicaps to come tomorrow Mark B. You might have a better chance with them rather than the Championship races, which as you say can throw up unpredictable results after a long season. Coko Beach goes again tomorrow, if he was 5/4 yesterday can't see why he should be 11/4 tomorrow, other than the fact that it was two days ago. He just doesn't stay 4 miles, even over the banks

Just because I’m a glutton for punishment obviously 😂
3.05 History of Fashion 12-1 each way 6 places
3.42 Telmesomethinggirl 10-1 each way 2 places ( Lossiemouth obviously should win here, but 10-1 each way at 1/4 odds was a more appealing bet than 1/5 for Lossiemouth 🙄😂
Good luck all 😊
