Just for a little bit of interest.
Day 1
Yankee each way
3.40 Firefox 15-2 I think is the each way value in the race. But don’t think there’s much between the top four in the market.
4..15 Bialystock 10-1
5.25 Captain Guiness 6-1 again I think good each way value.
6.00 Monty’s Star 2-1
Good luck all

As usual these days, lots of fancies are fav in the market or there's three pretty short! Fair shout picking Firefox Mark B. For the fun I'm gonna pick a few. I'm gonna pick fav Casey West to beat last yrs winner Two by three over banks in the first race. Daddy long legs Dinoblue for me. Montys Star

Montys Star Good choices KJ, I just didn’t think there was much between Mystical Power and Firefox at Aintree, but the odds were vastly different. Dinoblue will probably win, but wasn’t much each way value for my Yankee 😫 Good luck !!

Famous last words, some big prices first 2 races now! stupid to pick a first timer over the banks, he started making mistakes, just thought other previous runners and winners were pretty weak, didn't dig deep enough into the pile. Winner was 250-1 when 5th in Feb, only 20s today. He looked very well at start. Would have paid to see the parade😉
Yeah I thought Mystical Power would likely prevail, but who knows, could be an outsider, typical Punchestown.

Mystical Power is definitely the biggest improver out of the leading quartet, it was an impressive finish.

Well Jerry Hannon, just had to say Daddy Long Legs creeping into it.
Fine performance, Mullins winners now like buses, two, three ? maybe 4 ?

Gutted to get pipped on the line there, there was nothing Rachel could have done to stop a flying Banbridge pipping her, the finishing post just didn’t arrive quick enough.

I know he just got beat but is Captain Guinness one of the most underrated horses in training. He was very unlucky to have been brought down at Cheltenham a few years ago: he was going so well at the time.

I totally agree moreen, a very underrated horse which is why you can usually always get 5 or 6-1 making him great each way value. Yes I think it was back in 2020 and he was brought down with 3 fences left and was travelling very well.

I only rewatched the race the other day although I think I had backed him at the time. That grey horse was causing so many problems and I’d forgotten how well Captain Guinness was going at the time.

I’ve just refreshed my memory by watching it, 3 out and Asterion Forlonge just way out to the right and hinders a few horses including Captain Guiness, 2 out and Elixir D’ainay falls and takes out Captain Guiness, so yes CG was really unlucky that day,
